With the Government giving the green light to many non-essential retailers to open, today has officially been declared #IAmOpen Day.

Reach, publishers of the Manchester Evening News and other local news publications, is championing the region’s businesses and aiming to put as many of them in the spotlight as possible with its innovative #IAmOpen day that starts today.  For further information, and to join the #IAmOpen community, simply click on the link below to register:

To support and help our businesses in Urmston as they emerge from lockdown, Love Urmston has created a set of graphics and assets for you to use to communicate that you are back in business.  Designed by Chrissie at Mutznutz Creative Design, we have an eye catching poster available in two sizes (A4 and A3) for you to display in your window and square graphic that you can capture from here or the Love Urmston Instagram and share on your social channels.  If you would like a poster, they are available to collect from Fred at Kelder between 4pm and 7pm daily.

To all of the retailers, small businesses and shops and stores that have been affected during the lockdown, we wish you all the very best of luck with your re-opening and hope everything goes well this week.  To our wonderful Urmston community, we remind everyone to continue to shop local and support our small businesses as they attempt to get back on track after a difficult three months.  Let us know how you get on, and remember to tag @loveurmston in your social media activity.

Important – before using the graphics or posters provided by Love Urmston, please ensure that your business is Covid-19 compliant and you have carefully considered all aspects of your operation when it comes to meeting the re-opening guidelines.  Please view Trafford Council’s Covid-19 business page for more information and read the support document (see links below).
